1936年7月，陶行知以世界新教育会议代表和救国会国民外交使节的身份，赴英国伦敦出席第七届世界新教育代表大会，作《中国救亡运动与小先生普及大众教育运动实践情况》的报告，随后出访欧美亚非28个国家和地区，大力宣传中国的抗日救国主张，争取各国对中国人民抗战的支持和援助。1938 年8月30日，陶行知结束了两年零一个月的海外抗日宣传活动回到香港，为促进中国的民族解放事业作出了不可磨灭的贡献。

Chinese People's Ambassador

Visiting 28 Countries and Regions and Advocating Anti-Japanese War

    Being a representative of the World New Education Conference and Chinese people's ambassador of the National Salvation Society，Tao attended the Seventh World New Education Conference in London in July 1936. He addressed on China's National Salvation Movement and Mass Education Movement of Little Teachers. After the Conference，Tao visited 28 countries in Europe，America，Asia and Africa，conducting propaganda about the Chinese proposition for resistance to Japanese and National Salvation, and appealing for international support and aid of the Chinese people's Anti-Japanese War from different countries all over the world. On August 30, 1938, Tao ended his 25-month-overseas Anti-Japanese propaganda activities and returned to Hong Kong. Tao made an indelible contribution for the national liberation cause of the Chinese people.
